The service the Proprietors John and Linda Bell provide is always very welcoming and personal. The rooms are very comfortable and clean.. The location is very central and it is close to railway and buses. I would recommend this guesthouse to anyone and everyone.

The proprietors are warm and considerate, ever wanting to please and assist guests in solving problems. The quality of food in breakfast table makes one remember his home. Divya Vikas, India (Sept 2009)   Much much, much better than starred hotels as the hosts, John and Linda was very charming and took all care to make a memorable and comfortable stay. We wasted our money in the other hotel on arrival because of a small triple room after that hotel we felt lot of difference in comfort and pleasant welcome in a big triple room. Though toilet and shower is ouside the room but sufficient and never felt that we are sharing. Very clean toilet and shower closet. John gave us some heating equipment to meet our special needs. We got vegetarian breakfast specially prepared for us as fruits. I must return back here

My wife found the Aabalree on the intenet and booked it because it was near to the train station. What a delight! Clean,welcoming comfortable accommodation at an excellent price. Great breakfast. The best value I have had since the straw hut in Bali!

Tissa Bibile,  Colombo, Sri Lanka ( June 2009)   The room and  the bed I occupied was large and very comfortable. The room was clean and maintained very well. I did not encounter a single problem during my stay of 5 nights. The location on Union Street was fantastic, close to the city center and the University of Dundee- walking distance to both. There are plenty of pubs & eateries close by. Everything is within walking distance. I found John and Linda very friendly and extremely helpful. Breakfast was scrumtious. For value for money Aabalree Guest House cannot be beaten. I have stayed at Dundee on 4 occassions but had not known of Aabalree previously, which my daughter found by accident and investigated for this trip, for me.
